I actually made my own Quorra costume for Halloween a couple years ago.
I also really like this song by Lupe Fiasco called They. Resurrect. Over. New.
His whole album, "Tetsuo & Youth", follows an interesting video game theme; which I really enjoyed.
It is a masterfully crafted, holistic description of life and death.
The entire album deals with spirituality, organized religion, struggles, freedom and youthfulness or the absence of it.
This particular song’s title creates the acronym T.R.O.N. in reference to the 1982 coin-operated video game Tron.
It is also in reference to the year of 1982, which is the rapper's birth year.
Fiasco is a wiz at coded messages, clever punchlines, double entendres, and eccentricity.
The album is certainly a transformative experience and this song is yet another testament to his musical genius.
Some say that you need a PhD to understand Fiasco and I appreciate that in his music.
He truly illustrates various facets of the human experience, which would be unfulfilling and untrue if he was easy to figure out.
Art is not meaningful unless it helps you constantly learn and grow.
