I am super amped about the upcoming season of The Walking Dead.
I feel as though I've been having major TV withdrawals over the summer, so I can't wait to reunite with the #TWD family.

This book trailer gives the first glimpse inside my new ebook.
I truly enjoyed distilling my entire book idea down into two minutes.

This is the beginning of a mission statement built on a foundation of my values:
I am at my best when I am writing.
I will try to prevent times when I am influenced by automatic negative thoughts.
I will enjoy my work by finding employment where I can write creatively.
I will find enjoyment in my personal life through self care and mindfulness.
I will find opportunities to use my natural talents and gifts such as creative writing.
I can do anything I set my mind to. I will Write.
My life's journey is a semicolon. I've chosen to keep going. My writing will be about courage, strength, and wisdom for underrepresented people worldwide in order to foster more empowerment and hope for the future.
I will be a person who lived fully.
My most important future contribution to others will be preserving the legacy of resilient Black women who came before me.
I will stop procrastinating and start working on more:
LIFE IS AN
So is my mission statement.
Over the years, my circumstances will change, in addition to my priorities, goals and dreams.
That's okay - because change means growth. As I continue to grow, transform, and broaden my horizons, I will allow myself the freedom to expand and refine my mission statement.
For now, I will simply congratulate myself on a job well done. I just wanted to share with you my newly stated purpose in life.
The next step is living my mission.
Life is a journey. And this mission statement is my map.
